Osama Musharraf is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), with seven years of professional experience in external audit, finance, taxation, and corporate restructuring and governance.

He is currently serving as the Company Secretary & Lead Finance & Taxation at Dawood Group, where his responsibilities span across multiple listed entities, including Dawood Lawrencepur Limited, Cyan Limited, and DH Partners Limited. In this capacity, Osama plays a pivotal role in ensuring statutory compliance, corporate secretarial oversight, and adherence to regulatory frameworks.

Alongside his governance responsibilities, Osama continues to provide strategic leadership in financial management, tax planning, and reporting, directly contributing to the Group’s financial integrity and growth. His prior experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Cyan Limited and holding senior finance roles at Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited, the listed holding company of Engro Corporation, where he reported directly to the CFO and was actively involved in financial reporting, oversight, and strategic initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Osama trained and worked with EY Pakistan, gaining diverse exposure across industries and strengthening his expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and taxation.

With a deep understanding of corporate governance, business processes, and financial systems, Osama excels in aligning compliance with strategy and optimizing financial performance. His dual expertise in finance and corporate governance makes him an indispensable asset to the Group.
